About

G.G. Russey writes stories for middle grade and picture book audiences. They write comedy, spooky stuff, and comedic spooky stuff, with dips into nonfiction. Their work has appeared in Cricket Magazine, and some of their for-grownups comedy has appeared on The Offing, Defenestration, and Funny-ish.com.

G.G. lives in the Seattle area with their spouse and their unsustainable book-to-bookshelf ratio. At various times, they’ve been an actor, librarian, escape artist, video game programmer, and uncomfortable dancer. They’re easily distracted by ghost stories, lost mythologies, Halloween pencil toppers, uninhabited underground spaces, and vegan cupcakes.
